Kitchen Remodel - Lake Tahoe CAThis lovely Tahoe Pines home was built by the family in the early 1960s. According to the family, the kitchen was hastily remodeled sometime during the 1970s after a fire. Since that time the family had always wanted to restore the kitchen to the original layout. We were so delighted to help them through this process. The project included removing and existing tank water heater located in a corner of the kitchen.
A Rinnai tankless water heater was installed outside to free up space for more cabinetry. The electrical wiring was up dated and recessed can lights installed in the ceiling. New ducting was installed for the new island range hood. The cabinets were constructed with knotty alder face frames, door, and drawer fronts with a clear natural urethane finish and white melamine interiors. The countertops are TCE quartz with mosaic glass splash and feature under cabinet lighting.
